Hounslow basks once again in stories as StoryLand Festival returns with the second south Asian storytelling Festival.

INDIAN REGIONAL STYLES with Brij Haldania and Kiran Purohit

Brij Haldani invokes the heroic tales of Prithviraj Chauhan and Meera Bai using traditional Rajasthani storytelling form, while Kiran Purohit brings the colourful and traditional form of Bhavai with its myths and legends.

BRING YOUR OWN STORY with Rez Kabir and Arjun Rayait

One of UK’s finest story wizard Rez Kabir leads a feast of magic, myth rhythm and outrageous mayhem, joined by many other storytellers such as Arjun Rayait. Bring your story and perform in this enchanting outdoor space in the grounds of Cranford College.

Rap and MCing are considered contemporary forms of storytelling. Here The Truth, local West London based rap artist sets the example by performance of his work followed by workshops explaining the technique.
